The Youth Scholarship application period for 2017 is now closed. In 2016, 98 high school seniors were awarded scholarships by the SEMO Electric Cooperative Foundation, thanks to SEMO Electric member-owners who participate in Operation Round Up. Operation Round Up is a program that rounds up a member's bill to the nearest dollar. Since its beginning in 2008, a total of 501 scholarships, totaling $642,000, have been awarded to help area youth succeed in life. Scholarships are for high school seniors whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) is a member-owner of SEMO Electric Cooperative.
CYCLE Tour and Youth Tour events are for high school sophomores and juniors whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) is a member-owner of SEMO Electric Cooperative. Four finalists are selected by team members of SEMO Electric Cooperative. The application period for 2017 closed on Feb. 1, 2017.
