The member cooperatives of the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives (AMEC) have been working with the Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments (NWMORCOG) in completing an update of the Multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan for the electrical cooperatives operating in the State of Missouri. We are asking all interested individuals and organizations to review and provide feedback on this draft before it is submitted to the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for review. A 30-day public comment period begins on August 29, 2022. Written comments for the plan may be submitted via email to amy@nwmorcog.org.
