Bell City Students Participate in CYCLE
Congratulations to Bell City R-II Schools' Madilyn Asher and Kamryn Stubenrauch who were SEMO Electric Cooperative’s 2022 CYCLE Winners. They just completed the MO Electric Co-ops Facebook Page Youth Conference and Leadership Experience (CYCLE) program in Jefferson City, Mo.
CYCLE, a three-day leadership conference held annually, brings together some of the best and brightest young leaders from across Missouri. The focus is to show students more about electric cooperatives, teach leadership skills, and experience Missouri state government. The program includes nationally known speakers - such as Dan Meers aka KC Wolf's Facebook Page - and a day at the state Capitol and a tour of the old prison.
The group is also divided into smaller teams that compete in various events like the “build a cooperative” game. More than anything these students have a great time and create friendships that last a lifetime.
