Annual Meeting Set for May 13
We are going to do our best to have a little fun as we host SEMO Electric’s 2021 Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 13 at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo grounds. Rain or shine. It will be a drive-thru event from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the opportunity for you to park and listen to live music from Brothers Walker and Doug Johnson from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. We would appreciate prayers for no severe storms. Come visit with Team SEMO!
To respect social distancing, registration, and voting will take place from your vehicle’s window during the event. Voting will end at 6 p.m. so ballots may be counted. Results will be announced during the business meeting, which will start at 6 p.m. The business meeting will be broadcast live on Facebook and Classic KYMO 105.3 FM. Members may park and attend the business meeting in person.
All members (one per household) who participate will receive a $15 bill credit, plus a participation gift and be placed in a grand prize drawing for one of five $250 bill credits. The Grand Prize Drawing will be held live on SEMO Electric Cooperative’s Facebook page at 9 a.m., May 14.
