SEMO Electric Cooperative's 2021 Annual Meeting will be held as a drive-thru event from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 13 at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo grounds. All members (one per household) who participate will receive a $15 bill credit plus a participation gift and be placed in The Grand Prize Drawing for one of five $250 bill credits. The Grand Prize Drawing will be held live on SEMO Electric Cooperative's Facebook page at 9 a.m. Friday, May 14.
Members will be asked to elect four directors to the Board of SEMO Electric Cooperative. To respect social distancing, registration, and voting will take place from your vehicle's window during the event. Voting will end a 6 p.m. so ballots may be counted. Results will be announced at the business meeting, which will start at 6 p.m. See the Official Notice Rural Missouri - May 2021.
We will have a live concert from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with Brothers Walker and Doug Johnson. Bring your own chair and snacks and come join the fun on Thursday, May 13.
