September 2022 | "Rise and Shine"
By Sean J. Vanslyke | sean@gosemo.com
Often we get asked: "Why does SEMO Electric Cooperative have regular safety meetings?" First, it's the right thing to do. Second, it's about the well-being of each individual of Team SEMO. Third, it's about risk management for the individual, their family, and for the Cooperative. And fourth, I have no desire to see employees in a hospital or attend a funeral due to an accident. We work in a hazardous environment. I need to know we have prepared our team to live and work safely.
August 2022 | Relationships Matter

Family. If I learned one thing during 2020 and 2021 (Covid-19), it was that family and relationships really –– really –– matter. The simple fact is we should not take our relationships for granted. Time passes quickly at home, at work or even moments in time with strangers. Speak up. Speak out. Serve those around you.

February 2022 | Mary & Tony
by Sean J. Vanslyke - sean@gosemo.com
Congratulations to Team SEMO's Mary Simmons and Tony Powell! They are now chasing new dreams as both retired in January from SEMO Electric Cooperative.
Each day we show up to work, we hope one day we will be able to retire to do something new, travel or, perhaps, spend more time as grandma or grandpa. I am excited for Mary and Tony as they move forward. I am proud of Mary and Tony for the time, energy and dedication they gave to the Cooperative and you - our members.
