The Friday Feature w/Sean: James Hoff – Acts of Kindness

✅ As my friend Kevin Wheeler wisely says, “There’s a lot of good people in this world. We just need to show people what it’s about.” And what is it about? It’s about being kind. Welcome to Week #224 of The Friday Feature.

This week’s video was taken at night, so it’s a bit grainy and harder to hear, but we had one shot to capture the moment. On a whim, we purchased tickets to an event in downtown Indianapolis. Jill’s purse wasn’t a clear bag, so she couldn’t enter the building. She would have to take it back to the hotel, possibly missing the event. Lockers at the event center were not available.

Then, unexpectedly, James Hoff, crowd-control specialist with CSC – Contemporary Services Corporation, offered to watch her purse. For the next 90 minutes, James took care of Jill’s purse, even skipping his break to ensure its safekeeping. Wow! He showed us the true meaning of kindness. Thank you, James Hoff, for your incredible generosity and for showing us what it means to be truly kind.

It’s easy to get caught up in our own challenges and forget that we have the power to make someone else’s day better with just a bit of effort. Take this week to spread a little kindness. Whether it’s holding the door open for a stranger, offering a kind word to a colleague, or simply smiling at someone, these small gestures can create a ripple effect of positivity. You’ll be amazed at how much good you can do.
