The Friday Feature w/Sean: “I Believe in You!”

What does it mean to be underrated? And how powerful is it when someone says, “I believe in you!” Welcome to Week #246 of The Friday Feature!

Last night, I spent time with Santa Claus himself, and it turned into a moment I won’t forget. As we sat together, two children approached him with handwritten letters, eager to share. Santa, as only he could, invited them to read their words aloud.

The first child, wide-eyed and unfiltered, asked Santa a question that caught everyone by surprise: Have you ever used my family’s toilet? After a beat of laughter, the child added something unforgettable: “I believe in you.” That combination of humor and heartfelt faith reminded me how profound simple belief can be.

The second child took a different approach. After asking Santa his favorite type of cookie, she delivered a thoughtful request: “Please tell Mrs. Claus hi—and I think she is underrated.”

That line stayed with me. In just a few words, this child highlighted something we often overlook: the quiet strength of those working behind the scenes. Mrs. Claus isn’t just underrated; she’s indispensable, embodying the magic and love that keep things running smoothly.

The same is true in our lives. How often do we recognize the “Mrs. Clauses” around us—the ones who don’t seek the spotlight but deserve our belief and gratitude?

This week, find someone who might feel underrated. Show them you see their contributions, their value, their impact. A small gesture of belief and appreciation can go a long way.

Have a wonderful week, and let’s keep spreading kindness!
