We are in Cordova, Alaska, a place where those words aren’t just said, they’re lived. I’m joined by my friend Jaime Matthews. Jaime and I first met back in December 2012. Over the years, we’ve discovered how much our families and jobs have in common, and we’ve stayed in touch even though nearly 4,000 miles separate us.

That’s the power of relationships: they bridge the miles, they strengthen communities, and they remind us that we don’t walk this journey alone.
