Electric Safety for Schools and Businesses

SEMO Electric Cooperative is committed to helping keep our communities safe. Whether you’re a teacher, business owner, first responder, or community leader, our team is available to provide electric safety demonstrations and training sessions tailored to your group.

We offer on-site presentations for classrooms, civic groups, farms, and workplaces. Our safety staff covers how electricity works, how to stay safe around power lines, what to do in an emergency, and the most common hazards we see in southeast Missouri. Sessions can be customized for all ages—from elementary students to adult employees.
