Storm Update 5:52 am:

Power has been restored to the Town of Diehlstadt, but crews are still working to restore service along Highway 77.
So far, 5 of the 7 damaged poles have been set, and crews continue working to complete the remaining repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

Crews continue working through the night to restore power.

Update 12:04 am:

To safely replace a pole, members west of the Oran area will experience a temporary power outage.
Crews have picked up materials needed to repair the broken poles in the Diehlstadt area and will begin repairs shortly.
The Frisco Substation area should now be back in service.
We appreciate your patience as crews complete the repair.

Update 10:43 pm:

The photo below shows one of the broken poles from tonight’s storm. Crews will need to de-energize this line later tonight to safely repair or replace the pole. This will cause a temporary outage for members in the New Hamburg and Benton areas.
For your safety, please stay far away from any downed power lines. They may still be energized and are extremely dangerous.

Update 9:25 pm:

We have a confirmed report of 7 broken poles north of Diehlstadt. Crews have also located additional broken poles in the Frisco Substation area.
More updates will be shared as work progresses.
Please be patient as crews continue responding to outages. If you must go outside, stay well away from any downed power lines. They may still be energized and are extremely dangerous.

Update 8:30 pm:

We have confirmed our first two poles down on Highway H just west of Highway 25.
We also received a report of poles and wire down on Highway 77 just north of Diehlstadt. This location has not been visually confirmed yet, but crews are currently en route to both locations.
Please be patient as crews respond. If you need to go outside, stay far away from any downed power lines. These lines may still be energized and pose a serious danger.
