Charge your phones and portable chargers. Make sure you have flashlights, batteries, bottled water, and nonperishable food ready. If you rely on refrigerated medicines or power-dependent medical devices, put your plan into place now.

If the power goes out, please report the outage to SEMO Electric Cooperative. Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed to help preserve food. If you use a generator, operate it outdoors only and away from windows and doors.

As always, safety comes first. If weather conditions allow, check on neighbors who may need assistance.
