The Friday Feature w/Sean: If You’re So Good, Why Aren’t You Better?
✅ What if being good is keeping you from getting better? Welcome to Week 333 of The Friday Feature.
This week, I spent 22 hours in 13 pastures, or learning fields, with 37 others listening, asking questions, and challenging one another to think differently at Harvard University thanks to NRUCFC (National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation), NRTC, and Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange.
One lesson stood above the rest, and, after class, Andrew Don and I talk about the question Professor David Shore asked us, which is the same question his dad asked him many years ago: “If you’re so good, why aren’t you better?”
👉 It may sound harsh, but it is really a challenge to grow. No matter how much experience we have or what we have accomplished, there is always room to improve. Sometimes being good makes us comfortable. Getting better requires humility, curiosity, and the willingness to change.
So let me ask you the same question: If you’re so good, why aren’t you better?
Thanks for watching and sharing Week 333 of The Friday Feature. Keep Pushing Forward, and I will see you next Friday.

Every Friday since March 27, 2020, I’ve shared a story to encourage, inspire, and remind us that some of life’s greatest lessons come from everyday moments. Thank you for being part of this journey and for sharing these messages with others.
My book, Change Me. Bless Them., is available on Amazon. Through real stories and practical lessons, it reminds us that lasting change begins by looking inward before pointing outward. Order the book: https://a.co/d/09vpdCjr. All 2026 royalties go to the Kabuki Syndrome Foundation.
