May 2024 | Hoping for Eclipse-like Weather, Join Us at the 2024 Annual Meeting

We’re keeping our hopes up for sunny skies at our 2024 Annual Meeting on May 16 at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo grounds. Rain or shine, it’s a drive-thru event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but we’re really hoping to dodge any severe storms. Join us to register and vote from your car window. Your attendance counts: approve 2023 meeting minutes, financial statements, and elect four board members. Plus, as a thank you, electric members get a $15 bill credit and a shot at winning one of five $250 bill credits in our grand prize drawing. The grand prize drawing will be streamed live on SEMO Electric Cooperative’s Facebook page at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 17. Winners will be notified promptly.

To save on costs, this edition of Rural Missouri serves as SEMO Electric’s Official Notice for the Annual Meeting. By using this publication, we avoid significant postage fees, saving about $10,000 by not sending a separate letter. We’ve also included a message on recent bill statements to ensure all members are informed. We look forward to seeing you at the annual meeting!
