The Friday Feature w/Sean: Lead With Heart

❤️ Each week on The Friday Feature, we try to bring you something meaningful, encouraging, and real.

Last week brought a moment of joy, as our son was getting married the next day. But on that same day, our good friend Ken passed away. Welcome to week 318 of The Friday Feature.

Today I’m at the University of Wisconsin teaching about leading with your heart. But this week, life was already teaching that lesson to me.

Joy and grief can arrive together. Celebration and heartbreak can walk side by side.

None of us know what tomorrow holds, so we have to make the most of today.

🛎️ So what do we do? We lead with heart. We tell people we love them. We encourage someone who is struggling. We help where we can. We show kindness while we still have the chance.

🚧 We are all under construction. But if we are still here, we still have time to do good. We still have time to grow. We still have time to love. Lead with your heart.

P.S. I was blessed to see Ken about 48 hours before he passed away. He was headed home to Oklahoma to be with his wife, and he was so happy to be going home. I’m thankful he had that moment.
