❤️ When I was in grade school, we were learning how to write in cursive. I still remember Lori Taylor writing me a Valentine in big, loopy letters. And here I am, nearly 50 years later, and I still remember. Amazing how a simple, thoughtful gesture can stay with you for a lifetime.

Think back to those childhood Valentines—the excitement of decorating a Valentine’s box, wondering what messages were inside. You rock! You’re awesome! You’re out of this world! Simple words that made us feel valued.

Why did we stop doing that as adults?

You have one week—only one week—until Valentine’s Day. Pick one person—a friend, coworker, or family member. Send them a note, an email, or a quick call. Let them know they’re special, that they matter, and that they have qualities worth celebrating.

We have one week. Let’s use it wisely. And here’s the best part—kindness has a way of coming full circle. When you take a moment to lift someone up, you might just find that encouragement and positivity boomerang right back to you.
