Our green pastures can change over time—or we might be living in them and not even realize it.

Yesterday afternoon, I was in mine. Surrounded by our team. Doing good work. In a happy place. Then, in an instant, everything shifted. A sudden burst from Mother Nature left me on my knees, holding a teammate’s bleeding head.

We were blessed. No lives were lost. I was proud of our team’s preparation, their calm response, and their care for one another.

That moment reminded me: green pastures aren’t always quiet fields. Sometimes they’re the people around you—even in the middle of a storm.

Don’t take your moments or your people for granted. Keep pushing forward—and I’ll see you next Friday.
