✅Welcome to week 217 of The Friday Feature – When the Trumpet Sounds. Pastor Dale posed a thought-provoking question: When the trumpet sounds, what will be said about our life?

This week, I paid my respects to two women. One was born in 1943, the other in 1973. One had lived a full life; the other’s death was unexpected.

Despite being 30 years apart in age, they shared qualities that compel us to reflect on how we treat others.

They understood the importance of people.

They were encouragers and supporters.

They knew how to give.

They were great listeners.

They offered a supportive hand and a loving heart.

These women provide a model for living a meaningful life. Let’s take their example to heart and strive to be the best version of ourselves. By being the best you, you can have a bigger impact on those around you.
