The Friday Feature w/Sean: Take The Next Step

✅ The next step. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to move fast. You just have to keep moving forward. Week #344 of The Friday Feature. Sometimes, that’s easier said than done. Thank you, Amanda Gamboa, for being a great mom, wife, and daughter.

When our granddaughter Ripley was diagnosed with Kabuki syndrome, we didn’t know what our next steps would be. There were questions, uncertainty, and plenty of things we didn’t understand. But our family connected with the Kabuki Syndrome Foundation, a nonprofit supporting families and working toward treatments for this rare condition. That connection gave us a way to move forward.

Today, October 23, is Kabuki Syndrome Awareness Day. It’s an opportunity to help more people understand and remind families walking this road that they are not alone. This is personal for Debbie and me. It’s why all 2026 royalties from Change Me. Bless Them. go to the Kabuki Syndrome Foundation. If you purchase a copy on Amazon, you’re helping support that work. If you’ve already read it, please consider leaving a review (perhaps list your favorite chapter) to help others discover the book. Order or Review: https://a.co/d/07cw3QEq

But this week’s message reaches beyond our family. We know you’re facing battles, too. Some people can see. Others you carry quietly.

Maybe you’re moving forward. Maybe you’re standing still, catching your breath. Maybe you’re wondering how you’ll take another step.

Wherever you are, remember this: You don’t need every answer today. Take the next step you can. Reach out. Accept support. Offer encouragement. Your actions may make a difference in someone else’s life while helping you move forward in your own. Keep pushing forward. We’ll see you next Friday. #keeppushingforward
